Portion of Pennington Avenue to Temporarily Close for Repair Work

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Pennington Avenue will temporarily close for railroad repair work.

Starting on or about Monday, July 10, 2023 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Pennington Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Church Road and Ordinance Road with detours in effect. This road closure is expected to remain in effect through Saturday, July 15, 2023, weather and construction schedules permitting.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes. For live detour navigation, drivers can download the Waze.com app. All activities are weather permitting and BCDOT is not responsible for providing status updates.
