Portion of Lombard Street to Temporarily Close for Crane Lift Operation

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Lombard Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.

Starting at 8:00 p.m. this evening, Friday, May 12, 2017 Lombard Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles Street and Hopkins Place with detours in effect.  This portion of Lombard Street will remain closed until approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017

In addition, a temporary closure of Hanover Street between Lombard and Pratt Streets will also be implemented starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017.  This closure will also remain in effect until approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017

Detour signs will be posted in the area and motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns.  Commuters can expect delays and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.
